Swift - Syracuse, NY
Has anybody been through orientation at Syracuse lately? Can you tell me how long it took you to get a truck after you completed training. How are the miles? Do you get home every 2-3 weeks?

No I have to call back next week. She told me that the dates for augyst will be released on the 22nd. Have you heard anything on your date yet?

Just keep trying. When I call I usually get voice mail and hang up, then call back a few minutes later. When she answers and says hold it takes a few minutes. She told me dates for August come out on the 22nd. If I don't get one from her then i have the name and number for the recruiter from syracuse. Or I might even call Phoenix, need to get back to work. Keep trying, maybe we'll get a date together.

I'm also waiting for a start date for swift orentation, but in columbus ohio. Found it interesting that you mention the august dates will be known on the 22nd, thats excatly what my recruiter said. So it must be true even though different locations.

Told by flatbroke on another post that he has the same recruiter I have and she got him a date for August 1st. He talked to her Wednesday and she got back to hi yesterday. The 1st is a saturday. Did they change the day because I was told classes start on Tuesday.

talked to my recruiter today. told to call back Monday, the dates foer august will be released then.
