I have pulled almost every type of tank. My preference is a stainless steel vac tank. I pulled all types of hazardous waste. This is field that pays the best. It take slot of experience and knowledge. Background checks, gov clearances. We are paid 27% of line haul GROSS. Income for yr is in the high 70s to low80s. A big week for us is 2500 miles. My friends, it is wrong thinking, "need more money, we got the miles". Stupid. My more money for less miles.

I haul crude in the eagle ford shale (south texas). I get 24% of the truck, which generaly ads up to $300 a day average, 25-$30 hr. Most companies that haul crude but the hr pay aroung $24hr. There are some good opportuinites around here I make about 300-$350 a day in loads plus $100 a day per diem, no b.s. I bought a large travel trailer and brought my family just for the per diem, but the company offered a free hotel.

i haul gas and fuel. i get paid by the mile, load, and waiting time. i generally make between $25 to $30 an hour. I work nights though and avoid waiting time which really drags you down. If I worked days I would be lucky to make $20/hr. i love nights

I'm a fuel hauler in N.Calif, $25.77 a hour, time and half after 8, double time after 12. We work 4 on 3 off, if you work a 5th day it's all time and half for the first 12 hours double time after that. If you work a 6th day if you have the hours it's double time. The 6th day is rare, you can get it a few times each summer.
