Had good friend hire on. He left after a month. He was running out of Dallas areA. Cc cobbs terminal. No miles and only top drivers make over 50,000. Do haul aspht and heavy oil. Pay by week and trucks gov at 68 mph. O electronic logs. Hope this helps

 

Well I do know that now all trucks are on electronic logs
And each terminal is running as it's own entity.
Terminal manager did show me the entire payroll from top driver all the way down and even the low man was bringing home descent money.

Just my two cents worth. All companies have hood and bad. It is just what you can tolerate. I also saw pay, the money I saw was not that great. Wish u luck and good fortune.

 

Well on a break in orientation.
So far just hand cramps from all the paper work. LOL

 

After several safety videos and issuance of safety gear and getting my tractor assignment. Day one done. Now starts OJT.

 

Day 2
On the road with a trainer.
Wow this tanker yanking is a whole new different world of trucking.
Felt like everything went well. Got lucky and got a trainer who actually cares about training with safety as his top priority.
Today was a very educational day.

trainer was there only jumping in when needed.

OFF going to Van Halen concert
