Does this illegal running go for all milk-hauling outfits? Or just some no-name operations that attempt to fly underneath the radar.
I was looking at getting on with a bigger outfit that hauled out of the Clovis NM area and just serviced the surrounding area.
It is more of a way to just get myself into a local job in a different area so I could establish some form of residence there.

Oh man I like milk but now hearing it from the cows mouth sort of to say.I'll probably second guess that also.
I'm not a big beef consumer but once I seen the pink slim I quite that too. I do think people are out to fill their bank accounts and never to do the right thing. You have a good day thank you.

I did the milk gig until 2005 and I made my best money with the independant outfits, Thayer trucking and Two B Trucking. Two B got bought out by Aartman who got bought out by Ruan, and I believe Thayer left the milk business AFAIK. Nice equipment but ran your tail off.Fz1rider Thanks this. -
And 10-4 on the "My kid needs a new Lexus". Some of the big dairy's milk barns in the central valley looked like the Taj Mahal.

I don't remember Thayer owning any Dairys But I do remember Orozco trying to steal our accounts with his two horse operation. Ruan now owns 3/4 of the milk tanker outfits from what I've heard. They must be like the CRE of the milk industry now. "Two B" was a good company but like so many others screwed the pooch and sold out. We were part of Aartman when I left, and I see they went the way of the Dodo as well.

I remember talking to some of the old CMP drivers back then, and all of them said they made top $$$ back in the day before KCTL took over. I've spent many a long nights at the Artesia plant sleeping in a day cab. Don't miss that part at all, and the holidays were murder.
