round here in eastern pa i have a friend hauling for rw bird hauling milk works 3 days a week and makes 1200 every two weeks. he has 401k health dental n vision. i work 40 to 50 hours a week 5 days a week n don't make that and i get paid by the hour. neways it depends on where u live out west bigger farms means more milk. i think the biggest farm round heres milking 2000 head but still if theres not alotta big farms round your probably not ganna be hauling heavy and what not. i do the farming hauling thing i haul feed its different backing into small farm lanes and around barns in a tt but at the end of the day i feel like i have acomplished something knowing me being 22 n doing the job im doing if the money was there i would stay but its not so im looking else where. so to the guy that wants to maybe haul milk check out creameries maybe they have some hauling of spoiled milk or talk to other o/o n see what they say or couple milk hauling companies n see how they run. buddie has a cofin sleeper so he has somewhere sleep when he has to wait. have a good one n wish ya luck

OH HELL YES.....Rocha lives in Fontana, drives for Baskin Robbins with a few of my friends from the "remnants" of KCTL. Big Ed, passed away several years ago..And before I post this as a fact...There are NUMEROUS "Rochas's"...and a couple of Big Ed's. The one I knew at KCTL passed away of a massive heart attack about 4 years ago.

here in SW Kansas there are a few milk hauling outfits for O/O, how are they paid?
i know i talked to one O/O and he told me they stay away from the highways to avoid scales, running illegal? lol -
Grouch makes a good point, with the company I am currently with they are constantly pressuring me to fill it to the top. Or if I'm over hours I'm encouraged to just count that trip on the next days log. There are very few other drivers I know running for any of the other companies around my area that run legally on hours or weights. As for myself I do my best to stay legal, in the meantime searching for a new job out of the milk business.
