Schneider ad in local paper

In this mornings local paper, Schneider has an ad for OTR tanker drivers. The ad says "earn up to $47,000 depending on experience".
Is that really the top pay scale for Schneider tanker? I would have thought that it would be more than that. If the top experience tankers are earning 47K, what would be the average that a student driver could realistically expect?
I am considering applying to their tanker division. Any info TIA.

I spoke with a recruiter today and they told me that the pay differs greatly between regions. I know right??? Anyway, if you are set on driving for them then here are the best areas...Midland/Odessa $85,000., PA $85,000., Dallas/Fort Worth $65,000., Corpus Cristy $60,000. I am just going off of what I was told. I hope that the recruiters are not like the ones that got me to join the Army!! I hope this helps ya!!
