Superior Carriers Question....

I live in Westville, IN and I have been called by one of their recruiters numerous times about working for them. I am an O/O and have done tanker work, tho I have removed my compressor from my truck.

Just wondering if anyone of you have ran for them doing local work??? I already told them that i am not interested in OTR stuff and they swear I can run locally in a 300 mile radius and make good $$$$... just wondering.

No, but it did get my attention. My friend used to OWN the Superior Carriers terminal in town here, but he said rates got too cheap and he closed it up and they moved the terminal to the tank wash i guess. Was just wondering how things were going. Since I'm getting married soon, and the fiance is getting tired 9and so am I) of being gone all the time, I'm just trying to find my best option for hometime.

I heard ya, I'm home every weekend and a few nights a week and I personally have no desire to be out weeks at a time either, my wife would also be quite unhappy with that situation. Hopefully you can line up something nice and local/regional so you can have time to spend with your soon to be new wife and maybe some kiddos huh?

I can't help you much. Been to the Westfield "terminal" numerous times. Like you said its a tank wash with a mail box that says Superior Carriers on it. The dispatcher works out of her home. Every time I have been there it has been to pick up a resin load out of AOC. I wouldn't want to deliver that all the time. Usually a pump unload. Like all the terminals they probably have better freight for the guys based there.
