    I hauled gas/diesel for Pilot/J for a year. Loved the work, but pay was low.
    Also new hires can expect nights and weekends for years till you build some seniority.

    I agree but most entry jobs pay about that. It all depends on where you are and what you want. I wanted to see my Son grow up and I was lucky and got on with a good company. Way back in the early 90's my base pay was 40K with the opportunity for 20K in overtime. And still be home every night and have two days off or three if I wanted it. Sure there's drawbacks in any field but I just found less in hauling gasoline around town.
