Heard very good things. If your local to them, you can get a daily hometime position, and even their OTR stuff is good. Great equipment, and the pay is nice as well I've been told. there are 7 of their drivers who live around me and all like it there. I called them about a position as an O/O but they only do texas for that and I had to have a 2007+ truck.
If I ever went company driver, they are at the top of my list.

I do believe they have company drivers as well but I could be wrong. Called the company to find out but only got voicemail.
I have heard very good things also about this company. Pulling a pneumatic tanker is alot more pleasant to me than a box (which I do now) as it usually only takes about 30-90 minutes to unload at most places, the trailer is shorter, the trailer is round which is great in cross-winds, and you can take your breaks at alot of the shippers and receivers.
Hmmmmmmmm, maybe I should look into it! lol

Good job in Texas...... happy drivers for the most part, clean trucks and plenty of work. Will run you how you want like "get me home every 2 weeks" and they will do it.
You could lease here and run home......that might work......jmo
Just make sure you want to work. Word is when your out there, your out there and they expect you to roll. ( Whats wrong with them huh? Expecting a driver to drive ! )
Good hunting....

Yes, they are mainly company drivers. I was just talking about their O/O Program they have...
Yes, that was my plan was to lease on at the Texas terminal and run between there and Joliet, IL terminal. They really wanted me on so i could help shuttle trailers once a week, but my truck is too old (2004) and the money isn't good enough to justify a $160,000 new truck purchase LOL

160k for a new one? Naw not me, not ever.......kinda like price saturation. A Ford Pinto is a Pinto ( price is limited ) no matter the condition, it's only worth so much and that's it. A tractor is a tractor, it's iron pure and simple and iron is only worth so much.
Besides..., how could you pay for such a mule? Rough calc puts the iron over $3200 a month for 5 years, before you turn the key. Sounds like working for Prime.

Been with A&R since April of this year. So far I'm lovin it. The money is really good and the people are great to work with. Especially out of the Highlands terminal.

No, I'm one of the few company drivers out of Highlands. The majority are owner operators
