fozzy the time will come when you forget what part of the procedure (loading / unloading ) you are at ( Someone started talking to you, phone call, ect.).... DO NOT ASSUME... Start over at the beginning and figure out where you were, and finish up... the tank and pump will make terrible noises if you forget to open the vapor connections... ahh yep... also let ears be your helper... the pump will make distinct sound when it is empty.... when it does give it a minute or two to clear all the way to the tank... walk the hose to customer's end, close that one first, then shut the pump down (pto) then close evrything else ..... and allow the hose to depressurize completely............ get your routine down... and fallow it EVERY TIME... don't be scared of propane,,, but respect it... you will do well..... the first load ii hauled was a re-power for a sick drive... i got to the well head and there were six other drivers there .... six different ways to unload... what can i say... find out what suits you and stick to it.... good luck.... it's the best tanking job out there......... imho

Check ELTM(Enbridge Liquids Transport and Marketing). Transwood, or Taylor Propane/Gibson. I was with enbridge 6 yrs as a company driver and wouldn't have left had they not lost customers in Petal, Ms due to management changes at that terminal. We ran a 5-2/5-3 work schedule including owner ops. Taylor didn't have a work schedule but the guys there said they ran them hard. I know nothing about Transwood other than they do haul lpg but I'm not certain they have O/O

I work for PTI as an owner operator In ohio. I had to take the RR commission test in Texas. I still havent figuerd out why they tell people that. I still have yet to find where its written in Texas that owner operators cant haul LPG in texas.
