I just applied with Service Transport out of Houston. Does any have anyone have experience with them. The recruiter told me its percentage pay, which worries me. I would also like to know if there is an advantage or disadvantage with percentage pay.
Is Service Transport Co. a good tanker company to drive for ?

Extremely high turnover rate.

Do You know why the drivers are quitting this company BigJoel.
-
everyone of their drivers I have spoken with liked working for them.
-
Would you be able to say its a better job than a schneider van job?

Chinatown, Big Duker, RockinChair and 2 others Thank this.

I see those tanks passing me going 7-10mph+ over the speed limit on a regular basis, mostly through IL, MO and AR.
Maybe their turnover rate is due to drivers getting fired from speeding, but I wouldn't hold my breath. -
I think I'm going to give them a shot and see what percentage pay is like. They pay a lot more during training than any company I've seen. ($100.00 a day if local, $125.00 if OTR) I think that is a good sign.

I know from personally experience that service transport has a high turnover rate cause the pay sucks.
