Be careful with these guys. I worked for them for 6 weeks the end of 2013 and left, a lot of bs getting truck fixed on a run. dispatch doesn't send right papers to border cant get thru customs. lot of turn over at the term I was at. etc. just be careful lots of promises no follow thru. also have to sign a form that makes you owe them $2000 if you leave I
n the first six months of employment. just my $ .02 nothing more to say.

Not sure which terminal you were at but I never signed anything like that.
Truck maintenance is no issue, my truck is going into Mack for work on injectors apparently its recall work.
Dispatch is fine with me, I don't do Canada so can't comment on that one.
Now I've only been here about 5 mo. Money is what they said it would be

Slim Shady, wife and I are talking to Cynthia about coming on as a team. She wants us to sign a contract for six months otherwise we have to pay back the money for the physical and all the other testing they do. Forget how much total it would be. She will send me over the contract to look at in the next few days.

Good thing is they're willing to put our hometime in writing. Wife is still unsure so might not go with them.

Ya, I wouldn't sign anything like that.
Not sure how teams would work here, I've only met a husband and wife team but they are owner operaters other than them I'm not sure I've been seen any others.
Did I read you were looking at Estes and odl those are probably better options for teams, if you ever want to go solo this is a great place really nice money

Cynthia gave me the number to that husband and wife team so my wife could get a female perspective. Going to talk to them today.

We applied at Estes, ODFL, R&L and Saia.

Estes - job was filled when we got back home

ODFL - Got hired but wife couldn't get a one year medical card. When she finally did...ODFL wasn't hiring.

R&L - Couldnt guarantee the money we needed was there

Saia - Not enough pay, too many rules & terrible hometime

I like Triangle from your experience but as a team it doesn't seem worth it. They would pay us 50 cpm. You think as a tanker job they would pay more. We make that now at USX.

I'm hoping ODFL will call when their hiring again.

I'm on percentage pay and don't always keep track of my miles but the few times I did it was always averaged over 50cpm

Cynthia sent us over the forms. If we quit within the first six months then we have to pay back $200 for the drug, physical & lung test then another $2,000 for the training.

Slim Shady, going to PM you to find out how you got a good deal.
