Hi I'm looking to get into hauling gas and a new position just opened up in my area for a kwik trip petroleum driver. Just wondering if any of you have heard or have any experience about/ with this company, what they pay, etc... Any info greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Any Kwik-Trip tanker drivers out there?

Well here the Qwik Trip trucks are actually run by gemini or Coastal or another fuel hauler but they run with the QT trailers, I don't know what they pay but I doknow this if you are actually with QT that you will be very well compensated for your labors, They take very good care of their employees, The clerks in the stores start about $1.25 an hour higher then the Circle K a crossed the street, They do really well. I wish you luck, Hopefully someone in that area will pipe up ad let you know the answers to your real questions!

He is looking for Kwik-Trip not QT. QT does none of their own. I did 5 last night Plano, Denton,McKinney, Westlake, and Duncanville. All around DFW area. They don't pay well at all. They are cheap skates. Good for company drivers as we get minimum based on mileage. Shortest one pays $45 up to 19 miles. $57 for longer like Denton, McKinney etc. UPT, Groendyke, Keene haul for them in this area. Just got letter that they are taking on 4th company and all will have to give up a few stores for them. Just trying to get more cheap bids. They used to pay our owner opps $120 min. Dropped that to $70 so they all told QT to F off. They are mostly good to deliver to. Designed with drops away from customers. They are trying to be the WalMart of gas and doing pretty good job in this area.

Hauling gas is a great business, I did it for 6 yrs, loved it. But it's a business that needs intense concentration otherwise it will bite you in the hacienda, especially when loading at the rack.
Good lucksprizo Thanks this. -
Thanks for all the responses so far. Bump

I wish i could help, one of our drivers left 2 years ago to haul gas for them. I spend enough money at Kwik Trip weekly. They have 91 NON ethanol that i use in all my vehicles and toys
Logan76 Thanks this. -

I use that non ethanol for all my power tools, my saws love it!
Marksteven and MJ1657 Thank this. -
The non ethanol is legal for modern vehicles. Just certain areas of the country have been ordered by EPA to use reformulated. DFW area must use. Go a couple of counties away and you can get it without every day. Same with Houston, Austin, etc. It sucks as far as mileage and engine wear go. But it is good for business as we haul many loads a day to racks. So do all the other carriers in this area. Probably in excess of 200 loads a day.
