Every terminal can be different. For the best answer you should speak directly with the TM. I'm out of Panama City and usually get home every 6-7 days for 1-2 days. Sometimes longer. The longest I've stayed out with them is 12 days. Pay is the same. I have no complaints but everyone has their own specific needs. Again, I can provide a # if you want to speak directly with the TM.

Am getting my background check with CC Cobb done now. As soon as I get the word (like in a day or two) will be making the move. will be working out of the Chicago terminal...the TM there seems like a pretty good guy. Looked around at several companies i the tank area & was pretty impressed after talking with him. Looking forward to getting started.

I like the fact I'll be able to choose between percentage & mileage...and the chance to switch twice a year if I want to try the other way.

Background checks are complete...all I need is my physical, which I just renewed 6 months ago at current company. Have to give notice to current company & will be ready to go.

Am probably gonna go with mileage at first. If I don't like it, can switch in July. Chicago terminal is only a half hour drive from home so that'll work. And gave notice today so I'm on short-timer's syndrome now :).

Good luck and maybe see you in one of the terminals.
