Took my physical today...that was the last step. Terminal manager is getting me set up for training, probably later this week & will probably be moving into my truck this coming weekend to roll right out next week. Until then just gonna enjoy being a lazy buzzard :biggrin_2559:

I'll post regularly...I know TM here in Chicago has another truck he'd like to fill. Says he's been turning loads down because of it.

Don't know the situation in their Houston (LaPorte) terminal. Imagine they'd be hiring too.

Well took & passed my road test today, which was the last step. Officially hired as of today. Did some training in the yard...pumping on & off; will go back tomorrow to work on it some more....LOT to learn, but think it'll be OK. They won't send me out until I'm comfortable with the process. If that take a few more hours or even a few more days; when I say I'm good is when I'll start rolling. Decided to go mileage at first & will see how well I do. If I want to change to percentage will be able to do that in July (can change in January & July). Hoping to do well...hoping for the best.

Hear that. Due to renew the license end of May and I still don't have the info to get my fingerprints & background check done....too nuts! They'll probably wait until the LAST second.
