Anybody use their system. My current 5th wheel from jost is too low to do the traditional pin method. I'm just going to weld blocks to the slider to block it up for now to get back to work and order the slider down the road in a month or so. Fleetpride has the best price so far at 588 for the slider. pt number NA8P from jost.

No the welding shop that I was using has tried to pin it up front with a small 7/8" dia pin in front only and lasted about a month before breaking. Went back to them last week and they cut and welded 2 one inch thread nuts into the front lip of the 5th wheel and welded tabs to the front of the slider to bolt it solid. 5th wheel is cast and their welds didn't hold and ripped nuts out with in 4 loads. They are now replacing my top plate on there dime and putting solid blocks under it on all 4 corners to support it to get me going. I'm done with these guys after this. I went to them because they also run a small fleet of tractors pulling dump trailers. With the air slide there isn't enough room to fit the 1 1/2" pin under there.

Here's mine, the slider works even if I have the bar through in the no tilt setting.
I also had them add a holder up front for the bar for when I'm not using the end dump.

Here is the first set they tried. IMG_20140212_160231_338.jpg

You can see not much room under with this low profile fifth wheel. I did find out this is the shortest that jost offers.

It needs to be under the back side of the fifth wheel to have any chance of standing up to the pressure, mine is also the low profile version and I haven't had any issues with it from new.

Well I can say this much the front side doesn't work for long!!!!!! Its blocked under all 4 corners now until I order the factory no tilt slider.

Forgive this skateboarder's ignorance. Why wouldn't you want the 5th wheel to tilt?
