Just found out we will be relocating to Florida. Does anyone have any information on fuel hauling companies that run out of the Pensacola/ Ft Walton beach area. I know there is a Citgo terminal in Niceville, and a Transmontainge terminal in Pensacola, but I cant find any tanker outfits besides Florida Rock that run in that area. Thanks

I live in FWB and Florida Rock is primarily what runs the area. Seen Trimac out and about too.

Sounds like the OP is looking for fuel tankers, not food grade.

There is also McKenzie Tank Lines. They have several locations across the Panhandle and into Mobile. When I looked into getting on with them a year or so ago, they did their training at a facility in Pace.

There are other tanker opportunities, if you are not specifically wanting to do fuel.

Why don't you just show up at the rack and watch the trucks come and go. There's your list right there.
If you apply to Kenan. They're based on Ohio for recruiting. I'm an O/O for one of their divisions.
But they have different divisions serving different regions so you just have to call them and ask.

Yeah, that's what I usually do, or just see some outfits delivering and get the contact info off the truck. I like to stay away from the big companies. Too much corporate crap to put up with. I like the smaller privately owned ones. More freedom, and less stress. It would kill me if I had to go with Florida Rock, plus I'd rather not work if I had to get paid by the load.
