    I did a search for explosion proof flashlights, and also visited Mag Instrument's site, surprised me that non sparking was not listed on anything there.

    There are a number listed, there are also sites catering to hazardous work that have their own favorites, there are lights out there that will work without causing fire or explosion risk.

    We always look it see if it was pasted for use in the mines. The flash light itself would say on the side.
