Less than 52k for any class A driving position or the ability to obtain that figure after a year with the company is a red flag IMHO. Especially if you have exp. Someone was telling me about qc around where I'm at so that's a deal breaker for sure.
Need advice on Quality Carriers. Basically offered the position just a little worried

Quality carriers are affiliate owned. Not sure how many there are.
I work for a Chicago area affiliate with about 50 trucks we stay busy never seen a slow down yet.
The thing about working here is a small company feel with a large company customer base.
I know everyone in the office and can walk in to my dispatchers office any time.
These affiliates are all run different so I can't speak for any other one, but I'm very well paid I run regional but it's more home than road sometimes home every night for a month then maybe a few nights out.
The pay is great $1100-1400 for 5 days always weekends off, but you can run weekends or choose system and stay out as long as you wish. -

I have been with QC for 9 years. My experience with Rahway has been pretty good, I have gotten good freight from them. Thing about QC if you are not happy with the Rahway affiliate there is one in Bridgeport, NJ also. But my biggest suggestion is don't limit yourself to running local, at least consider running regional where you might be gone overnight but money is better.

Yes QC has DB Kustom Trucks "customizing" trucks for them. If you follow their Facebook page and look at the trucks they are putting out other than the color & stripe design they are all the same. Same drop panels, same fenders, etc...etc. Also they say they can build your dream truck, yea, as long as you're dream truck is the same thing as their "vision" of how a truck should look like. I thought about going through the program but decided not to after speaking with over half of the guys already going through the program. At least 3 of the trucks have been returned and awaiting new owners. If you want to struggle week to week and have a stressful week, sign up, go thru the program. Myself, I'll be going through the Keys 2 Quality lease purchase. A much better program QC offers without the $25k-$30k markup.
