Well I start my first dump truck job tomorrow and I only have 8 months experience. It's only $13 an hour but home every night and good hours. Getting me some experience then buying my own rig.

My insurance carrier won't let me hire anyone under 25 years old. I look at attitude...nothing more disappoints me when I'm trying to explain a task and I get "yea , I know, I got it" then when It comes down to doing it, the driver is just winging it. We do asphalt, millings and anything else with road work in the summer, then switch over to working for a small excavating company, so to be diverse is a must for me.

I am having a good time driving a bottom dump. Starting my third week, home every night and off most weekends pretty cool.
