Did you contact them and ask them?

he says about 26,000 and some change but I am hoping someone here can get me closer because I don't want to go over 24,500-25,000

You are wasting your time trying to guess a weight, nobbody can. The only thing to do is park in on a set of scales and weigh it. Do not trust a salesman to do it, he is trying to make a sale, and could possibly use a set of scales that were not accurate (?), and tell you a fib.
postmandav Thanks this. -
Flotation tires on front would be the first thing I look at. They are so much better to drive than the " skinny " tires.
I had 20.8T on my dump trailer today and weighed in 69,680lbs. I cannot imagine grossing 77k on a straight truck with one floater axel. Every once in a while......maybe, but all day every day....no way!
The Kenworth looks to be spec'd with the Mack, axel wise. Typical size bed. This one is steel and the other was aluminum. Steel makes the truck more versatile but aluminum with a liner is the smack daddy for strictly aggregate. -
stab in the dark.....13,000kg-15,000kg......just what I've come to notice.....
you, my friend, need to have it scaled...... -
If I was buying a truck, I'd call the salesman and tell him to get me the Tare Weight. If he wouldn't get it scaled to sell that truck at about $130,000 or so I would guess he could go number 1 into a strong headwind!

call KW and maybe you can get an idea from the VIN?
