I do understand where you're coming from! I see things on a daily basis that I feel are wrong on some level or another. Most of the time my opinion is ignored though

Good advice but the OP is asking for dispatching fuel deliveries and they are much different than OTR dispatch. It's very complex to know the drivers and the stations and to know if they are telling you the truth or telling you what might happen. We had a station that would order a week in advance because he felt he would run out. 9 times out of 10 he didn't. Stations order off their inventory and adjust according to sales. If the Dispatch Center is lucky they will have sat communications to help them if not then the dispatcher really has to know what's going on in his or her area.

I've been with a tanker company for a month, 2nd week on my own and I already want to quit because of the dispatcher. Yesterday I finshed my 4th load at my 11th hour and this scumbag sends me another load( keep in mind all our stores are a minimum of 2.5 hrs load drive unload come back if everything goes smooth and the company policy doesn't allow a 16 hr day . He said it's an emergency so being a new guy I said ok I'll do it , I got there at 5:30 and the 8600 barely fit and the store closes at 10. Today I finished a load at my 10 hrs and sure #### this guy sends me another load that's 60 miles away, called my trainer, told me to park the truck and have a good night and please come back after your 2 days off lol
