tri-axle usage

    This is NY regs for lift axles. The dates have been extended to 2020 but rules are the same.

    Most guys who have 120k permit are running quad axle trailers. Some use one lift axle some use two.
    Trucks with 107k permits are running tri axle trailers. Most have one lift axle some are a fixed tridem. If it doesn't lift, it doesn't have to steer.

    I am buying a 2003 Pete 379 that was registered in Pennsylvania and I will be working in maryland, as I am composing this my air control valve is being moved to the outside of the cab, then it has to go and be certified where the bed is filled on a scale and the air control valve for the tri-axle is dialed in---more money for my state inspection
