    Hello,

I have been driving for 9 years. Spent 7yrs. hauling freight OTR, then 2yrs. pulling a 45' side dump and belly dump double (main trailer w/pup) hauling road base and gravel on the oil fields in eastern Wyoming. I am considering going to food grade tanker or possibly a fuel tanker. I hauled water in a tank only a few times (didn't seem like a big deal). I am fairly new to Wyoming but I love it here. I would like to find a company to drive for with good equipment (rather than the beat to hell equipment you typically find on the oilfield), relatively good income for a normal work week (rather than having to put in 80hrs a week in crap equipment and getting beat to death on dirt roads to make the good income).

Can anyone tell me if there are any companies in eastern Wyoming that haul food grade tanks and/or fuel tanks and what kind of pay scale I could expect.

    Chinatown Thanks this.

Trimac hiring, but they aren't food grade.

Indian River Transport might hire out of Eastern Wyoming and it's food grade.

Maybe Oakley Transport & their trucks have APU's.

Prime Inc. - food grade in WY.
    Sapp Bros. - diesel fuel

Thank you for getting back to me and thank you very much for the info. I just got an email back from Trimac. Still waiting for a reply from Indian River.

You normally make more money running a chemical tank than food grade. Both run primarily smooth bore tanks. i run chemical and half the time I'm not placarded anyway.

You can try Caledonia Haulers out of Caledonia, Mn. Great equipment and good people to work for.

Thank you for the reply. I will look them up to see if they are hiring out of Wyoming.

Prime isn't going to hire out of WY for tanker. They don't have a whole lot of tanker freight west of I-35.

Cherokee freight lines based out of Stockton might actually run food grade tankers in Wyoming. They would have you run regional or maybe 11 western. 15/her union membership and everything
