Pittsfield is about 15 miles from my house in Adams. Do they park trucks there? If I could do day cab I'll do that and what are the hours like?

Yes they have a couple of day cabs there, usually do 12-14 hour days every other Saturday you have to be available to work half a day. I did about 60k my first year there, you go up in pay after 6 months and a year as well as get more consistent runs. One week vaca after 6 months, any unused time gets paid at the end of the year, and insurance and 401k after 90 days, trucks are maintained, day cabs are Pete or KW and a lot of them are big power (600+) cat motors

I always used to see Goulet trucks when I'm back visiting family in Albany...nice to know they are a decent company, my brother is getting his CDL, I told him to check out Goulet when he has experience...he's a worker. What kind of experience do they require? Besides driving, dump is pretty straightforward stuff...i run walking floor trailers so I get it.

They want two years, hazmat and trailer dump experiance is also a big plus and a passport if you go sleeper

you deffinately earn your money, but if you want to work its available for you to make, that along with the nice trucks and nice work environment keeps me pretty happy there

I did over 70 last year and I was in a day cab for over half of it

first year will be a little bit less until you get into a set run, all they look at is your mvr
