Does anyone who's hauling milk average 50,000 per year or better? I've read it is a lower paying job but also see milk companies offering 60,000+. Just wondering in there are drivers making that amount. Thanks

It was always a low paying job when I was hauling food grade. You might want to ask Indian River Transport drivers and some of the food grade guys. I'd be surprised if you can make even $50K but you never know. Maybe times have changed.
    Good luck.

They claim 50K plus in Central Mn hauling for Land O Lakes by Northwest Transport out of Wis. They have been looking for drivers for a while.

Thanks 327, I'm interested in it at anything over 50k. I didn't know that was possible and wasn't looking to get "fibbed" too after I already signed on.

I had a friend that hauled bulk milk, and it was a low, like minimum wage low, paying job, and they ran the socks off him in a day cab. Farm pickup may pay a little more, but that brings in a whole new set of problems.:biggrin_25513:

    Where are you ??

If you are in the northeast or midwest try Caledonia Haulers in Caledonia, MN..

1st class outfit and some of the nicest people I have ever met in trucking....I didn't care for the freight lanes or I would still be there.

Seems like a lot of the best looking working show trucks are dairy haulers from WI, MN, & KS. Must be worth it in some ways...
