Hi everyone,
I'm very new to trucking (not a truck driver) but I have a challenge I've been tasked with that relates to this thread. I'm looking to haul scrap metal material from Ontario, Canada and into Ohio and Pennsylvania. The challenge is finding companies that operate aluminum dumps that can cross the border. Could anybody help me get started by providing me with trucking companies that currently operate in OH and PA that could potentially go into Canada. I already have a short list compiled but I'm willing to look at any options right now.
Thanks a bunch,
Dump trailer nice trucks

Get hold of LAIDLAW's dump division

Thanks for the reply! We're currently working with Laidlaw at the moment...we've maxed out the number of trucks they're able to provide...now looking into other options. Anything else?

Try page trucking. They have a yard in Perrysburg and Youngstown ohio. Also one in Ruffs dale, pa. Not sure if they go to Canada but I know they haul scrap.

The pretty trucks in the pictures are from a company in Minnesota, most of them, Tom Eileen and Sons Hampton MN Not the dump with the 4 axle trailer though.

There is a Canadian company that regularly hauls into pa. I see them on I79 all the time, I cant think of the company name but im sure someone on here knows the company im referring to. maroon (mostly Volvos) pulling aluminum dumps. I want to say pft or something? maroon tractors with white lettering. -
