Are there any good load boards for owners of a class b dump truck? Have driven a dump truck for some time now and interested in becoming a owner operator of one.

No. If you want to haul gravel and dirt locally you need to go talk to the brokers who dispatch the trucks at the gravel quarries, or find a contractor to work for.

Out here in NJ, we have one called dumptruckjobs.com. My buddy referred me a couple of weeks ago. There are some contractors and quarries posting loads on there. There isn't a whole lot on there but from what I understand, it only went online a few weeks ago. We'll see. This time of year, I'll take any help I can get.

It's usually far to sporatic for something like that. I'm usually lucky if at night I know what I'm supposed to be doing the next morning.

That's true, the industry is a lot different from hauling freight but the one I mentioned seems to be making a good go of it so far. Over the past couple of weeks, I've seen a decent mix of ongoing work (hauling sand from South Jersey to Philly-area concrete plants, etc.) and short-term work ("I need 50 trucks tomorrow and the day after, hauling construction fill from Brooklyn to a dump site in PA"). I don't know what it's like in other parts of the country yet. From what I understand, they started on the east coast somewhere but it looks like it could go nationwide.

I'll take any help I can get if it means I can afford to keep a plow off my truck.
