I believe with Prime you'll get more training, longer training anyway. Something like 3 months... maybe. Anyway, I'd say go with Prime as I'm sure they probably pay better and starting in the tanker division will help. Get yourself some tanker experience, Hazmat tanker jobs pay good down the line with experience

3 months of training is a bit much, Marine Corps boot camp is 3 months. To each his own but if I was looking around the less training time would be a plus to me. The job isn't as hard as some make it out to be. Now the difference between Schneider and Prime is that one is chemical and one is food grade. Now I don't know how much a lack of chemical experience would hurt you later down the road but there is that to consider.

Pit in apps at all the tanker outfits you can. Superior, Quality, Trimac. Get with Chinatown for a complete list. But be realistic, the top companies don't hire too many students but you won't know if you don't try. If you can't get on then just decide on one of those two. Remember, all you are doing is getting experience. You can turn that experience into great paychecks down the road.

Almost any company will take a student if he applies at the right time but it is no guarantee. If you end up with Schneider that's not as bad as some would have you think. I started in tanks there and there are a few threads in the Schneider section on guys going through Schneider Bulk, they don't seem miserable. I enjoyed my time there but I won't go back, they just don't pay what the top companies do.
