I've been in contact with the terminal manager over in NJ. I have an interview, road test, wiz-quiz set for 12/29. How is this part of KAG to work for? I'm pretty fed-up with local P&D here on Long Island. I pulled a gas tanker for 8 months last year for Island Transportation, the rest of my driving has been with LtL freight companies. Really hating doing peddle routes in this "goldfish" bowl! ha ha I thought I'd give tanker pulling another shot and OTR! Any advice or info would be great! Thanks!:biggrin_255:

I know around where I live they pay less than other companies doing similar work...sometimes considerably less. However that may not be the case where you live...but I thought it was worth mentioning.

I know quite a few co drivers for TSC and they are happy, by and large. The last time I talked with them, they said that TSC had a 47c/47c loaded/empty pay scale which seems pretty good. The pay scale may have changed since then, could even be better. You probably need it living in NJ.
I've been to their terminal in NJ and if you're referring to the one on Essex Ave, they share with Dana and it can be a tight squeeze at times.
But as usual, you just need to do your due diligence and know the full picture.
Hauling chemicals is usually a good payer.
    Good luck

Yes Dr_Fandango, that is the place on Essex ave. right passed the Prison!! LOL I went there today, did a roadtest, physical, and pee-test for them! I got the scoop on pay, home-time, and training! Otr pay if you stay out 2 weeks is .50cpm, load/unload pay $18 for each! not too shabby me thinks! Terminal manager asked me, "When do you want to start school"! Think I got the job if i want it? ha ha Crazey-out!:biggrin_25523:
