Have a "friend" that is looking to finally move over to tankers.... But he doesn't know what COMPANY DRIVERS gross in Northern California......
any chance some of those drivers are on here, could state what they gross-AND what they pay in benefits.....
also isn't it safe to assume that chemical tankers pay more than food grade?
Also:
is it a pipe dream to think there are $75k+/yr tanker jobs in Northern California that offer weekends off......
I always thought if ya wanna make $80k+ yanking tanks:that it has to be an OTR REGIONAL type of job, and not local.
Not your usual "what did you Gross"? Thread

Where did you go when you left Western express lol?
NavigatorWife, tucker and david123abc Thank this. -
I'll give you a guess here for gasoline drivers. I'd say about average good pay would be around $23:00 an hour. May be a little lower since all the companies started selling out to common carriers.
superpet39 Thanks this. -
Yea $23 an hour with 1.5x after 40, and 60 hours a week. What I'm getting in L.A. Should be similar in the Bay Area.
good luck with weekends off though... Maybe once every other month your Saturday will actually fall on a Saturday, if at all.superpet39 Thanks this. -
How long have you been driving? (Can't tell from your profile) How do you like tankers?
does your company pay 100% medical and dental? -
Plant: what do you pay for your benefits? If you don't mind me asking?(pm me if if you want)
do any tanker companies pay 100% medical and dental? -
Well I'm single so it's about 20 something per week. Nobody pays 0 for benefits not even the union guys down here.
