Most of the dump guys around me carry a garden sprayer with diesel to keep things moving.

coolant, salt, or calcium. the product dictates.. scrap metal like zorba, i can use pretty much anything. but somethings can't mix. I've never used diesel, we switch products too often and i'm pretty sure it'll have to be washed out afterwards.

Hi Allow Me, don't let the man (or woman) catch you spraying diesel in your dump box. I hauled "schluck" for a while, and we had to switch to those soap suds, which didn't work too well. Some of the old timers still used fuel oil, but today fines can cost you plenty, if caught, that is.

I was kind of ruling out diesel i was leaning more toawrds oil or antifreeze or maybe calcium chloride. I mean b scrap wont matter if you use oil or antifreese. Boss is one who said antifreeze would work but id imagine itd freeze depending how much moisture/ water is in it. Hes switching. All his trucks to red so we have alot of green. So hes not 1 with a frozen load. Im just trying to look for something that will keep material with moisture from sticking.

I haul aggregate 99% of the time. Off road fuel and hydraulic oil mix is what I use. Seems to work better than just fuel.
I don't haul OTR but I don't like aggravating my shoulder by shoveling out the bed. Spray it down at the end of the day and carry a sprayer loaded for a spray down mid day if necessary.

Semi is is right though, a diesel bear won't like you using fuel. Another driver that hauls OTR said his company uses liquid calcium.
