Hi Turner, oh, be careful with that. Anhydrous is NASTY stuff. I got a job once with an outfit that hauled gasoline, propane and anhydrous ( Dahlen out of Janesville, Wis.) and the guy I was riding with had a bad experience with anhydrous, pulled a hose off, a little splashed on him, almost burned a hole in his arm. He scared me, and I never took the job.
Amen that.
I was running the wagons you pull behind the Farm tractor when you plow for my brotherinlaw the farmer back and forth for refills when i was a kid.
Hauling down the road with a empty and i noticed the hose you use to transfer the anhydrous to the Farm Tractor fell to the ground and was dragging.
I stopped and ran up on the tank to beat the traffic and secure the hose.
well there was a few last pounds left in that tank and the hose valve got knocked open.
I ran up on that tank and suddenly it was like a truck had just hit me, i was down on the ground before I even thought about it. It sucked the air out of my lungs like a giant Vacuum.
I was very fortunate that when i fell i fell back towards the truck and managed to crawl away from the tank and that the tank had next to nothing left in it and soon ran out.
I gained a whole new respect for Ana-hydrous after that.Pulling full wagons down the road at 40 not 65 and being prepared to run for my life if something happened.Last edited: Feb 1, 2015

I've been doing it a while now and it's something that ya got to respect. I have learned that if your scared of it there's a bigger chance for error. That's just my outlook on it. But I love pulling a bottle whether it be anhydrous or LP.

I grew up with a guy who's dad was side dressing anhydrous on his corn. Got out of the tractor to check something and a hose burst and whipped past his face. He was legally blind after it. Its nothing to take lightly.
Skydivedavec Thanks this. -
Yep, the safety policies are there for a reason with that stuff. My father has worked with it safely for many years, it's to be respected.

Hey, guys. I used to haul fuel in ND and I would see some exceptionally nice trucks pulling Anhydrous bottles a lot. They seemed to have a sticker that said, "Guilty by Association," on them. Does anybody have a company name for those bottles?
