Would you say it pays well?
Do you get all the miles you want?
I am thinking about working there in that division so any thoughts or opinions would be helpful.

Sometimes. Sometimes Not.
No.
The bulk division of Schneider National is an excellent place to get training and valuable experience. -
I thought $750/wk was pretty good!

i've been w/ schneider bulk for 6 months now and i love it. some times the miles aren't there. last week i had over 3300 miles. my average take home pay has been around $700/week. get hazmat and twic as well or you may end up waiting around for a load longer than you would like.

I'm thankful that Schneider paid me well and got my experience up so I could land a better paying gig. I would recommend anyone who is starting go to Schneider. I really enjoyed my time there.

What is your per mile pay?

I started with Schneider bulk and don't regret it. The training was good and the experience was invaluable. I have since moved on to a different company that does the same thing, goes to a lot of the same places, but pays much much more.
If I had to do it again I wouldn't hesitate to start with SNBC, but the only thing I would do differently was to at least apply to some of the other carriers even if they had previous experience requirements. Superior Carriers (who I now drive for) will occasionally hire inexperienced drivers and the training is just as good as Schneider, but the pay is much much better.
At Schneider bulk you can expect 2000-2400 miles weekly average, occasionaly more or less. Accessory pay is OK but not great. Hometime is good if you request it well in advance you can expect ot have the days you want off. Your first year will be 35k-45k depending on how long you stay out at a time (3 weeks or more is best), second year on should be 45k - 50k but not much more than that. If you do go with Schneider OPT OUT OF PER DIEM. They charge 2 cents per mile administrative fee for it which is outrageous. -

I started when Schneider still had an in house driving school. At that time you could go from no CDL to a seat in a pumpkin in 6-8 weeks on their dime. I was accepted to that school but chose to pay 4 grand for a private school so as not to limit my options. Best move I could have made.
