Anyone here using one? Wonder if they got the bugs out yet? I was looking at one when I was at Truck World show last April and I really appreciate the sales rep's honesty when he told me it wouldn't work for my application.
Apparently they are having lots of issues if you haul heavier materials like aggregates. But he said they are ok on lighter and bulkier loads.
Anyone know the full story? A friend directed me to a thread on another site where someone said the cable drums were crushing when trying to push off the heavier materials, and he said lots of cracking problems.
I hope they get them straightened out, because that would be a very versatile trailer. Especially if that front wall is strong enough to scrape out frozen material.
Around here a regular live bottom isn't great for me because when certain loads freeze in the winter, they bridge and don't come out, and a lot of places I haul won't allow end dumps any more either. That's why we have been sticking to the truck/pony combos now.
