Look in any place of business, they have to post what your rights are, But why are those documents printed in the smallest type and put in a place were employees really can't read them.
The Government are the ones who print the rights you read on the sign. Blame them for the small print.
The Department of Labor specifies where the signs must be posted and even how high or low they can be posted.
so again blame your Government.

Yes the unions have done things wrong, but when push comes to shove I would rather be a part of a bigger force than to be hung out there on your own. Big business in america will stop at nothing to make sure that your rights as an American Citizen are slowly washed away. They will also make sure that they will step on the rights of people in other countries. There are companies out there that are still charging a premium price for products that are now made in a different country, Danner Boots, Levi jeans ect ect. Are these same companies paying these new workers a fair wage? hell no!!!! But they are still charging a premium price for these inferior goods.

The Unions were Established at the turn of the century in the early 1900's. Riots broke out, people died fighting for alot of the rights we have today. The 5 day work week, overtime pay, Holiday pay, The labor laws limiting the hours you can work children.

If you don't know what your rights are it is because the companies out there don't want you to know. Look in any place of business, they have to post what your rights are, But why are those documents printed in the smallest type and put in a place were employees really can't read them.

Why is it that lead paint was banned in this country but now we are importing toys from china with lead based paint on them?

Our goverment is not trying to protect the working class they are to busy making deals to make the rich richer!!!!

In the meantime everyone should haul some more #### that was made in another country.
This post is total BS
The us has the second leading corporate tax rate in the world plus other high taxes placed on them and there is a long line of people like you who can wait to raise taxes even more like charlie rangold with his 3 trillion dollar tax increase he wants and you wonder why jobs are leaving ha ha
No country has ever taxed them selfs into prosperity
What would happen if all jobs were union and a fair rate of 50,000 a yr salary? yeah that would work.
The gov does not create jobs period. The rich create jobs. this constant attack on the rich is foolish and used by the Democrats to blame someone to get Votes as they will tell you that you need them.
America is the greatest country in the world and there is a reason for that and it's not union. The Union gone too far is communism, just look at our schools with the union there it's a disaster.
Yes I am a union member local 79 and they use us like fools
There is a place for the union but not everywhere or everything they want

Well, he is right. The rich own the companies, and the companies create the jobs. Also, anyone with money will make it work for him, instead of him working for his money. He'll do that by investing it, which helps the economy.

I didnt understand a lick of that post either, but...

The government create jobs by decreasing spending and lowering taxes. Unions can create jobs too. Take UPS for instance, the teamsters created 10000 fulltime jobs in the last contract.

How exactly does a Union create jobs? Do they make a product of their own? No. Maybe what you meant to say is that due to the union rules, they were able to add 10,000 more people to do the same amount of work. How wonderfully cost effective that is.

Unions have good points and bad points, but so do jobs that aren't UNION.

So I guess we are back to SQUARE ONE!

No, the union negotiated that 20k part-time jobs would be turned into 10k full time jobs.
