Re: To all drivers........

hey if it wasent for the goverment we would'ent have to record our every move we would not have to pay are taxes, so they can just take our hard earn money and find new ways of screwing us over. f it wasent for the goverment our friendly neighberhood police oficer's would't be able to break down looking our door's looking for "bad doer's", and shoot us 51 times whlile we enjoy are bachlor party the night before our weding's. and finaly mr.lets bash the goverment,if it wer'ent for the honorable U.S goverment we would not have a leader that we did not vote for thus leading us into a war we can not win and killing thousands of people that have nothing to do with the people we are trying to "flush out".

so if you want to live in a world we're we are not lied to on a dayily basis THEN WHY DON"T YOU MOVE TO CANADA.
ps. don't tell any body else but when you get canada can you email me directions.

Exclamation Re: To all drivers........

Yeah I know you are thinking a union but I'm not looking for a "Leader" who takes money from me to represent me if I did I would find a lawyer I mean for us to get a spokesman someone to address everyone not some white collar politician; we need someone who knows what we know, seen what we seen, done what we do, someone to pull us together again

Re: To all drivers........

The real problem with "pulling us the Truckers together" is that there are way too many individuals that would not want to be "pulled together".
Here's a well worn idea:
Try to get a common answer to ANY common question in Trucking and you'll discover that there is NO commonality in Trucking.

Unions only work for those that want to support them, however the Union does not have to support the supporters as in the Overnite strike a few years ago where there were lots of drivers that lost everything because the "union" told 'em that things would get better, which they didn't.
Some drivers were on strike for a year+ and the "union" organizers were not broke or misled.
There are lots of other incidents of "union" corruption and misrepresentation of its supporters.
Unions are good for some(those near and at the top), where unions are generally bad for most.
Some unions have actually done some good yet not in the long run.

Good luck in seeking people to "organize" Trucking or in the seeking of a "leader".

Thanx fer yer tym.

BEst of WELLness 2-u-n-urs-n ALL (ad)ventures!!

Re: To all drivers........

You guys go ahead and get this new leader all set up and after you do that, I'll take a look, see how honest he is, how much he is actually accomplishing, and how much money it is costing to have him compared to what extra he might bring to my bank account. Then, If I like what I see, I might consider supporting him. Till then, I think I'll stay as I am.

(And if the prophet you are going to find to lead us out of the wilderness is named Hoffa, don't bother me, I am sleeping right now.)

Re: To all drivers........

Theres No Need for a Leader, as A Democratic Society we are the ones that decide who stays who goes and who does what, Call Your Congressman...

The Problem is! There is a Generation GAP between the ones Incharge and the Working Class
Couple that with the Fact that not even 1/2 of the American's Vote, and the ones that do are the Elderly...

Why do you think there is bad policy, well whats Relavent to them is Different than whats relavent to us!

IF We All Voted things would be different because I know (i havent looked this up ) but i'm 100% Sure that the Poor People out Number the Rich and if we all Voted then that would Force the RICH GOV'T to Make better Policies to Benefit the working Class

Thats just my opinion
