I'm also waiting for 2 calls this week 1 from PSC for the vacuum truck/laborer job and the UNION propane position. I will drop everything for the fulltime union position. Bennies and pension
It might only be class b trucks but its about the pension.
Talked to TM just waiting for whiz quiz results.Everything else came back already.. Ps I drove containers today for a part time company. I wanted to get back into a truck before I went to stericycle so I could sharpen up my skills. I'd been out of a tractor for 6 weeks. I've been driving dump truck pulling a flat trailer.(just not the same)

were they union daddy? I am unsure since they do not operate out here in the same capacity that they do out east

some stericycle places are union, mine is not and I'm not sure why they're not. I finished orientation, took road test and just need my hazmat/med waste safety training with the regional or national safety director.

Trained with doubles today. I hooked them up and drove them. A little wiggle now & then but they stayed in line(kite as they keep saying). I was very happy. Doing a line haul to Long Island,NY in the am with a 48 filled with supplies.

Welcome to trucking Today was an eventful day. I had a breakdown on my first linehaul. I broke down at 3:15/3:30 (electrical)and didnt get back to RI until 11:30am. Towed in by a wrecker.I witnessed a lot lizard/bunk buddy hoping out of a truck then knocking on other doors. Then made a call and a car came 1 min later and scooped her up.I should of known something was up by the way the UPS guy leaned back on that pilow.lol

Had a great day.Deadheaded to Middletown,CT picked trailer for delivery to Long Island. Everything went great. I beat the traffic in and out and only had one small delay in ct on they way back home. I drove 472 miles today. Not bad for a rookie.
