Great day today, went on the road and drove on the highway.I did my breakdown test and railroad test. I talked with the instructor and he said he will recommend me to go for test. He wants me to go out on the road another week for some more downshifting practice. He said Downshifting is so important thats how you show control of your vehicel. You need to be able to downshift. Plus He know I want to eventually do tankers and explained why people roll over around curves etc. I agreed and just wanted to get the date within my normal time and everything should be allset. I'll talk to the main boss in the Am to see if he scheduled my test and for what date.

BigDaddyJollyRob,

Just wanted to let you know that I have been following your posts. It sounds like you are doing great. Pay close attention to the instructor when it comes to tanker issues. Yes, they will roll over much easier that a van. Also remember to leave yourself plenty of stopping distance. It is worse in any type of inclement weather. The surge of the liquid can push you into an intersection after you have come to a stop. There is a lot more so pay attention. Keep up the great work.

Drive safe
