Not on a truck drivers salary!

If a truck driver has that I'm sure the gooberment is going to be doing some investigating into his "side business".

soooo... a trucker is not allowed to have a 1500 buck mortgage?

the wife and I live in a fairly posh area of cincy (mason) -

the home on that pic is about a 275K home etc etc

and for the truck drivers salary - good econ sense will tell you you should not have a home worth more than 2.5 times your salary -

(even though realotors and banks want to loan more...)


so 80K driving plus 20K brokering plus 12K rental income plus 46K wifes salary = 158K times 2.5 = 395K for a home...


we are more conservative than that - and kept our home cost to 170K

that gives us a nice cushion and the opp. to pay the home off in less than 13 years by making double payments.

That house would probably go for more than that where I live.

So you are saying that me having a house that is worth $180,000 or a little more is out of line on a $55,000 combined?

I won't have that in it, just that it'll be worth that. (fire replacement)
