I think lots of them hire part timers. Some hire school kids which that is good for the kids.Lots make sure there is no OT. I have seen the workers at these places some are overpaid. If all the food store and drug stores went union.the empl.would be paid better but would they raise their prices to make up the diff.Thare is a lot of retires on S/S.SSI etc.

I guess I got an extra zero in there; banks add exra zeros from time to time by accident.

I believe it's about $2,300.00 per person.

1% of the US pop has 1/2 of all the money in the country let them pay for the bail out.

Many years ago when I worked at scam's club, I asked our HR lady for health insurance and she gave me some pamphlets for government help. I told her I want to see what walmart's health plan is like and she said that I wont afford it anyways, and it's standard company-wide procedure for human resources to get government help for the employees. Now tell me that is a drain on society...

Wal Mart sends it's employee's to government health care, "bleeding taxpayers". This is un-American to the nenth degree. And our government allows this to happen. I believe the government is in on the scam and they are in fact betrying their own citizens. The more I read/hear the more I think it's time for a . US citizens are being robbed and our government is "playing stupid".

This is also happening in other business's especially ware illegal alien's are working; fast food, and construction. To make things worse they are having 4 and 5 anchor babies at our expense. They are out breeding us and using their voting power to enrich themselves.

What gall's me is that the news keeps saying that fed medical is going broke but the fed keeps giving medical to these people.

I think mannmk7 answered that one in a way.If the Goverment would stop the handouts to these Employees and the non employed. That never want to be employed.Take this little storm Ike for instance.Fema going to give Victems 6 month rent at motel.which most of there jobs were destroyed. But on the other hand the Kirtrina victems from NO.LA are still getting their rent paid by FEMA.till Marc of 2009.Diff hand out but same point. As long as the Gov.will give it some people will take it.

The largest employer in the US having a "go bleed the governement, not the company" policy is making it worse. Some people will be a drain on society by nature, but I'm talking about people who want to put in a 40 hour workweek, and earn decent wages and benefits. If those workers are told by their employer to go mooch off the government, the company telling them to mooch is a plague on society.

That's why I dont shop at walmart.

While the pay is good (i worked this for three months), the people aren't. It took me 4 complaints to management about people harassing me. The only thing they did was warnings and on top of that, I reguarly worked with this guy. Had we had a union, none of this #### would have happened. It would have been over with. Same at Publix, people made fun of me and it took more times than I can count to get it to stop. Once again a union would have been beneficial period.
