Sounds like management has it better than you do. Maybe you should aspire to be more like them. Better yet, work to be management or God forbid a business owner yourself.

But then you'd be part of the problem, and have no one to blame.
I have a management background with the airlines...was a hangar foreman responsible for the timely output of an aircraft....days lost meant lost revenue, approx $10K per day...I did it with a union workforce and no one person to blame but myself....Management always did have it better than the working class, not a real big revelation there..BTW...I aspire to be Earl...nothing more.

I am currently unemployed, drawing my airline retirement, and persuing other avenues instead of driving. Thanks to the union I do not have to be in a big hurry or take the first little morsel of a job offer. My health insurance is provided for, due to my planning, my bills are practically non existent, 6 more yrs of mortgage, no credit cards, mainly utilities and upkeep of my livestock. I took the responsibility, early in life, to assure myself not to be a burden upon the taxpayers...last time I was unemployed I was told I was ineligible for UI due to my being enrolled in school...so be it..

You be sure and let me, or Obama, know if you need help with the mortgage.

When you really think about it, this is a selfish argument. I mean...is there really a point behind it? Thanks to the unions, some people CAN'T work every day.
Zigger please...and because of the unions some people have to have provided for health insurance...and because of the unions some people have to have recurrent training in their fields...and the list goes on for some people...

Just because union members only want to work 25% of the time available....
I guess I gave to much credit to some of the peep's postings in here. I could easily type endless ridiculous comments about non-union workers, their inept ability to strive for a better living...no need to go on here.

The true 25% is the pay you receive relative to the work accomplished to your union brother doing the same work...I'm only guessing here but I think I like the idea of more money, and I suppose I would come on here and cry about the unions if I was only able to read about their accomplishments.

I'm guessing you would be disappointed were I to occupy the Oval Office.

You two are getting a bit to personal, and insulting, about this Union stuff.
Y'all need to lighten up and attack the posts and not the poster.
If this continues, I assure y'all that nothing good will come of it.

Yeah, what he said.

Lets keep the insults on the less insulting side so we don't get this thread shut down as well.

Mooney....I'd strongly suggest editing your last post.
