Oh of course. Anybody in the office would go out on the floor away from their desk, reach way behind a cabinet, and unplug something at random. Sounds perfectly reasonable.

Anyway, here's another one at the same place. Union worker comes in to work and grabs the air ratchet to put a bolt in. Those have settings on them for the tension, that dial on the bottom, very easy to change. His had been set too high so when he screwed the bolt in, it snapped the head off. Not only did he not check the ratchet, he did it 5 more times and then stood there staring at it until someone noticed and came over to set it for him.

Here's another one from the plant itself. At the end of the line, there's a quality check section where everything is checked out and looked at before the trucks are driven out and parked in the lot. One night they ran 60 trucks off the line, through the check, and out into the lot with no oil in any of them. Locked up every single engine. That one made the news so feel free to look it up. Claycomo plant.

I was referring to the use of electricity in the building to power a cell phone charger. I would imagine the office staff would use the plug by their desk.

I am not a union supporter. I just do not feel they are the entire blame.

Besides, I have worked in an office. The office worker came in and turned on the computer and it did not work. Was in early during tax season. Waited 3 hours till regular working hours drawing time and half, to have them check it.

Guess one. The real brainer, did not notice it was not plugged in.

I guess there are stupid people everywhere.

lol, classic. Dad used to work tech support. One of the first things he figured out to ask was, "Is your monitor plugged in and turned on?"

Most major buildings, the UPS is before the plugsystem, to prevent brownouts and all that rot.

That doesn't stop 'tards from jerkin stuff outta the wallsockets.

Well, in our accounting office, we had them correctly installed at each location when I left.

The main system had a more elaborate backup system that lasted for days if needed.

Yeah, maybe he was out fishing with the guys that were supposed to double check that. The thing that gets me is, even if those trucks roll off the line at one per minute, that's still a full hour before anyone noticed anything was wrong.

Since the UAW owns most of GM, isn't their a conflict of interest here?

I wonder if the Federal Trade Commission will step in?

Ford needs to tell it's workers, "See Ya, you UAW types can leave the building. We'll be hiring all new workers, you know, those folks who have been on Barry's 'funemployment' vacations."

Ford does that, and I'm a customer for life.

I agree with this statement and I could care less about unions but...
when you see something like this, it's not hard to wonder why union membors shot Ford Management down:

Ford reports $1B 3Q profit
