hey all how has everyone been doing? pretty good here just trying to get by. well an update is in order... Lillie had another seizure in may and we went to see a neurologist on the 28th. he put her on diazapam and diastat and if that doesn't work then we will have to take her back for further testing. this really sent me into a deep depression... i am constantly worried that i am gonna wake up to find my lil angel dead. i really don't know how to cope with it all. i am just trying to keep myself busy so i don't have to think about it. well back to the seizure ....... this one was different this one came before there were any signs of fever or infection. hence the reason i had to take her to a neurologist. i was giving her a bath and had just rinsed her hair out when she started to seize. i was so proud of my fiance and soon to be father in law they were so calm. i made my fiance call 911 and she had just came out of her seizure when they showed up. she hasn't had another one yet (knock on wood) but anyway that is my little update. Keep us in your prayers

Nice to hear from you and Iam sure most of us can relate to your feelings being thru some hard times ourselves.

Thoughts and Prayers go out to you! My youngest has febrial seizures, scariest times of my life, Thank God he hasn't had one in about 9 months (every time I say something like that, it happens again!). We'll defiantely keep your little one in our prayers, and you!

My grandson had seizures when he was born, he was a little bit early and was seen by a pediatric neurologist right away. They gave him the same meds Lillie is getting and after 30 days on the meds he has been seizure free since. Hopefully that will be the case with Lillie

I will keep Lillie and you in my prayers. Try to remember that your constant worry and stress doesn't do anything but harm you. And remember that little ones can sense your stress and that may complicate things a little. Find someone to talk to outside of the family -- a minister or counselor to help you deal with your anxiety and remember, it is in God's hands. He won't give you more than you can handle so try to keep your faith strong and focus on the blessings He has given you instead of the trials you are experiencing. Just from your post I see you are very blessed -- little Lillie, a supportive fiance' and soon to be father in law, you have your health and I'm sure the list goes on. Focus on the positive and it makes it a little easier to deal with the challenges. I wish you and yours all the best and may you have many, many more blessings in your life.
