You know what, Gal? After years of hassling my son about hitting the bowl... and his insistence that he does... I've decided that the yellow that appears around the base of the toilet is what I now call the "splash factor".

My son is 6'4"... and I guess coming from that height, there's bound to be a bit of splash when it hits the water. It's as good of an excuse as I can come up with.

Ducks, how old is your son? I keep hoping mine will out grow this, their 2 & 5, your saying yours is 6'4, great, does that mean they don't out grow it!! LOL

He's 21. I remember when he was just a little guy, I found a puddle on the floor after he used the bathroom. I explained to him that he had to hold his little wienie while he was peeing to make sure it was going into the bowl. His answer? I'll never forget -- "I AM holding it, Mom... but sometimes it just goes out of control."

I think a lot of men have this problem... but not always just with peeing. From what I've been told, sometimes it has a mind of its own.
