I see not alot has changed since I left the road then. Here we are in 2007 and this conversation sounds like the same as in 1987.
I am surprised actually.
I have had both also.
But more drivers just kept quiet where I was concerned. Bull haulers had a certain berth given to them when I drove and virtually unheard of to see a female pulling a rack. I usually just got these kind of looks. LOL

~laughing~ Yeah I hear you..most of the time out here I get a certain respect to be pulling doubles...however I think that as the age of drivers get younger, with all the newbies coming in, there seems to be less & less. Its a shame that we are slowly loosing those Older Drivers who can pass on so much valuable information... they are the 'Real' Truckers.. cheers to them...!!
