Schneider has a policy of pretty much hit the animal instead of trying to swerve and avoid it. On my route, I see lots of dead deer that cross the road in the morning to drink from a nearby river. Really is sad to see so many dead animals and so much blood....its like they friggen explode on impact with the truck.

Here at work we still have to fill out an accident report as to the details.

The safety department will take and review the incident. It's always ruled as a non-preventable accident.
