Florida Mom Discovers Pornographic Photos of Local Schoolchildren on MySpace

The mother, who was not identified, went straight to police with her discovery of the photos, which contained kids from Fletcher Middle School posing nude, in their underwear and in swimsuits, News4Jax.com reported. Police said the photos are considered child pornography.

“It's a horrible crime. It really is. There's really no excuse for child abuse on any level," Sgt. Tom Bingham told News4Jax.com. "It's a very difficult crime to investigate. It's very emotionally draining for investigators to have to sit and look at that and deal with that all day."
Cops have a suspect who posted the photos on the popular social networking site, but declined to reveal additional details, News4Jax.com reported.
Fletcher Middle School is scheduled to hold an Internet safety forum later this month.

Try to complain to the websites,nothing will happen.My husband joined yearbook,it's like myspace and facebook.He got a message from a 13 year old with a quarter on each NIPPLE and nothing else asking him to be her "friend".He reported her and the staff replied that no harm was done.He joined up with a group of adults and teens on the website and tried to talk to the children doing those things,nothing happened.1 person went and checked the default pictures of the teens and stopped counting at 1300 profiles,of those 1300 over 750 had part nude,underwear,two peice string bikini pictuers.And again,going to the staff and reporting it went nowhere.So after coppa and a few other childrens groups were informed he left the sight in frustration.

That is crazy. SO much damage is being done to our kids through these 'social' websites. And sorry, but there are WAY too many ADULTS who are getting a kick out of it too. People need to police their kids on the web. Problem is, very few do. My cousin's daughter is 14 and I've heard through the family grapevine that she has some pretty provocative photos of herself on myspace, and that her mom knows about it and doesn't say a thing.

My boys are both pretty well 'grown', at 18 & 20.....but my 11 year old daughter is on CONSTANTLY...and let's just say she's very closely monitored and will be for a loooooong time.
