Bullhauler's wife...
I just noticed you have a locks of love link on your siggy....one of my daughters just got 'clipped'...and we have 4 pig tails of 11" gorgeous golden brown hair ready to be mailed off!

I wish I could donate...but my hair is highlighted and I know they wouldn't take it. How I'd love to take 11" off this mop.

LOL Yeah, I cut 15" off in October. I kind of miss it, but the cause is so worth it. Both my nieces did it and so I figured that I would as well. Took me 5 years to grow it out to the point that I could cut it off and send it in.

My hair was almost to my waist, when I cut it.

Yep...that was close to the length of my daughter's hair! It's just below her shoulders now, and she's SO NOT happy about it. She loves her long hair, so I have to keep reminding her that it was for a great cause!

OMG did you cry? I so support the foundation for that but I just cant do it. I would so freak out if i lost a couple inches much less over a foot. They would so have a field day on my hair for its almost to my butt as well but I would so cry like a baby! I admire y'all for doin it!

No I didn't cry. But that night, when I went to bed, my head itched so bad. LOL And I know it was just the layers that I had cut into it. It still itches, so I'll be growing it back out, maybe not quite that long, but it will be longer than what it is now.

I have a freind who's daughter recently donater her hair to locks of love, poor thing didnt have much hair left! She is 8 years old and insisted on doing it because a friend of hers had lost her hair because of cancer treatments. Such a cool thing to do!

My hair is long enough, but their website says they will sell it because it has some grey in it. I would love to find another organization that would use it. I think one of the shampoo companies takes donations for making wigs for adults, but I can not find it anywhere!! GRRR!! I will have to keep looking. If anyone knows about that one please let me know.
