Female Truck Driver Attacked; Fake Cops & EMS Show Up.

So far, it's been a week of hell trying to get anyone to take any action on this, because the evidence, so far, is slim. But it did happen. I lived it. Any advice would be grateful.

This is a message that will be posted and available for the people of Julesburg, CO to read, but I am also sending this out to the Colorado TV news stations and newspapers, as well as national news media outlets, with hope someone will investigate this on their own.

Female Truck Driver Attacked; Fake Cops & EMS Show Up.

My wife, a truck driver, stopped for her 10 hour break, at the Flying J in Julesburg, CO, Saturday evening, March 1, 2008. She went in and had a meal, went back to her truck to take the dog outside, went back into the Flying J to shower, and then retired to her truck to sleep. Our dog that travels with her woke her up at around 2 AM, needing to go back outside. After being outside for several minutes the dog became concerned and my wife decided to return to her truck. When she approached the back of her trailer, a man with a knife jumped her, held one arm behind her back and slammed her into the back doors of the trailer. She was able pulled the pin on her personal alarm and our dog did her best to bite and attack the attacker. Two other men, we assume were truck drivers, came to her rescue and chased away the assailant. Within minutes, an older black & white police car with two uniformed men, with a blue and red flashing domed light on the dash showed up. They asked questions and took down all of her personal information. The other police officer questioned the two men that came to her rescue. Then, older reddish colored ambulance/van showed up with an EMS-type guy, which checked her over for injuries. Then, a gray/silver colored sedan arrived and said he was a representative for the truck company she drove for. She told the officers and company representative that she wasn’t comfortable staying in the area. The officers offered to escort her out of Colorado. She accepted and they drove in front of her, all the way to I-80 in Nebraska, where they proceeded to go westbound and she went eastbound to the closest company terminal.

When I got the news of all this, I jumped on the phone to find a police report and any information available. Well, guess what? I was told that Sedgwick County got no 911 calls at all that night. The State Patrol, in Sterling, also received no calls, nor, did either department dispatch officers or an ambulance. I called the Sheriffs office and spoke to a lady there that insisted that they were no way involved or notified. I would have to wait until Monday to talk to Sheriff Ewoldt or Under Sheriff Peck to get any information.

That Sunday, I questioned my wife extensively, and got details in every way, shape and form, convinced that the event did indeed happen, but not in the way, any of us could have imagined.

Monday morning, after a brief conversation with Under Sheriff, he said he would look into it. He called back later and said he called the Flying J and they told him that nothing happened that night. I insisted that this needed to be looked into further, because this certainly did happen! He proceeded to tell me that “Nothing happened! And if it did happen, it didn’t happen in Julesburg!” Then he called my wife and basically called her a liar and asked personal questions about her and I, which had nothing to do with the case. That was enough for me to spend the rest of Monday, on the phone with the CBI, State Patrol Headquarters in Denver, and many other sources for help and information. By Monday afternoon, I had a “real” human being that was concerned enough to look into the matter. By this time, I had done enough research online, to find out just how big of a problem Colorado had with Imposter Cops. But this went way beyond, just one imposter cop… there were two of them, and an imposter EMS medic with lettering on his shirt that read EMSR, a bogus company representative and most likely, a bogus attacker with a knife. We are still unsure who the two men were that came to her rescue. This is a totally unbelievable story. Right? No way could this be anything but a fabricated story. Right?

Well, after a series of events, and my family digging up information that “others” weren’t willing to do, all of a sudden, the Sheriffs office had taken this seriously. (Thank you, Denver State Patrol!) On Tuesday afternoon, Mr. Peck called my wife back and pleaded with her to come back and file a report so they could start an investigation. My wife spent most of Wednesday, March 5, 2008, in Julesburg, with Sheriff Personnel and she told her story in detail. Will they do anything about it? Will this all be covered up to protect the “crimeless” image of Sedgwick County? I would like to believe that Mr.Ewoldt and Mr. Peck are professional enough to see this through and SOLVE this case. That may be up to one of you… a citizen of Julesburg. I’m offering a $1000.00 reward for any information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of one or all parties involved. Flying J says they saw nothing. We do not believe that! Someone there knows something. You can stay anonymous and contact me directly or the Sheriff. Either way, if you can provide the information needed to bust these guys, the money is yours. In fact, any information or leads would be appreciated. Julesburg has good people. My wife, my family and I, could sure use some help.

Considering our dealings so far, with the Sheriffs department, it would not surprise us if they have no comment, denies this case is real or refuses to response to inquiries. We assure you, that a case number has been assigned, recorded testimony and written statements were taken and evidence for DNA has been provided.

Female Truck Driver Attacked. Fake Cops Show Up.

A $1000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of several men that were involved in the (staged?) attack of a female truck driver, by a man with a knife, fake police officers that showed up at the scene, (in an older black and white police car with a flashing blue and red domed light on the dash), as well as a fake EMS medic with EMSR letters on his shirt, (in an older reddish raised-roof ambulance/van). Is this too crazy to be true? Don't bet on it. This was very real. Ask the Sheriffs office about it. But don’t be surprised if they deny it. This happened in the early morning hours of Sunday, March 2, 2008, at the Flying J near Julesburg. [WiseOne Edit: NO E-mails!]

The two guys that came to your wife's aid might not have been in on it. They might have prevented something terrible from happening. If only you could find those two. Someone had to have seen something, truck stops are busy places. I am glad to hear that your wife, and her load, are safe. The outcome could have been much worse. Just wondering, was she hauling a high dollar or highly desirable load?

Flying J has cameras in their lots and fuel islands (to protect against drive-offs). You would think something would have shown up on the video camera...

I just wanted to say that stuff like that happens to us female truck drivers from time to time where no one will believe you or do anything about it...I am very surprised to hear about this kind of thing happening in a small town in Colorado, you would think that kind of behavior would take place in a big city or in states like CA or NY.

I have made a reputation for myself that I am a b%#@h among my brother truckers and non truckers so they wont bother me in a manor that is not fitting to me...they will walk-on-egg-shells before they approach me! For me it works but not for all my sista truck drivers...they will have to find their niche so our brotha truckers and non truckers will respect us...I also work at night and carry a knife with me. I wish you and your husband good luck in finding the fake cops and EMT...I am a local driver now but I use to go over the road with my husband. I will spread the word here in California about this situation!

Well, the post makes no mention of 911 being called after the attack. Although it could have been omitted. It was only implied later in the post.

There's a lot more to this, than is being told. I'm not directing that to the original poster. He has no access to 911 logs.

Cop...Ambulance..and a company rep ????

I can understand a fake cop. I can understand a fake EMT. But, I have issues with the company rep. Did he produce any company ID ? If so, how did he come about it so quickly?

I smell sumpin.....

I am sorry that this happened to your wife, but glad she is ok....but when something like this happens to women it takes a long time to forget if you ever do.....I have a fear of this happening to me, but I try to have something in my hand when I get out of the truck....but I don't trust anyone at truck stops.....and the fake cops, ambulance.....this is incredible....it scares me.......I sure hope you find who is reponsible....Good Luck...

A question..

I have read all of this and find it scary to say the least....I dont doubt its validity or the person posting this...

However I have a question... Why? why did they go to all this trouble ?
Perhaps the attackers were planing on stealing the load/truck and got thwarted by the other drivers..this happens alot.

If these Officers were fake why would they escort her to I-80, I mean whats the point? I dont even think 'real' officers would do that. The fake EMS, again why? and a (fake) company representative, again why?... It seems like of lot of work and effort for no apparent reason (that I can see).

Perhaps I am missing something here..?

could be they wanted the load

it would seem alot to go through , but think if they were going to take the load it would not be. senerio woman is attacked cops show up ems shows up the victom thinks 911 was called, now all the victom wants is to GO HOME. attackers cover their tracks and b4 anyone is the wiser they got the load and victom forgets major points from attack.
